The primary goal of our department is to provide facilities and services for the University community in support of the academic and student development of the University.

For information on facilities reservations and conference services, contact the Facilities Reservations Office at (956) 381-2224. Reservations should be made as soon as possible, since facilities are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. All reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. UTPA offers a number of choices of facilities for conferences, meetings, weddings, basketball games, graduations and lectures. Among these are the Fine Arts Auditorium, the UTPA Field house, the University Chapel, and various other facilities.

Each facility is unique in design and possible configurations. Information is available on each meeting room including dimensions, typical setups, and special features. Facilities rental rates and special charges are applicable. A listing of technical equipment is available for our customers. UTPA offers full catering services through Sodexho.
